Jane Godiner
is hungry.
Hungry for cachapas and chang fen, but also for stories about the figures and forces that influence the culinary world. She hopes to dedicate her professional life to telling these stories through reported pieces — primarily written ones, but with an enthusiasm for multimedia storytelling.
Jane’s work has sent her across the East Coast. Over the past six years, she has studied creative writing at Bowdoin College, honed her skills at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and worked as a full-time food reporter in South Carolina’s capital city. She has written about food, beverage, dining and hospitality for publications in New York City, Midcoast Maine, Atlanta, South Carolina, and, most currently, Washington, D.C.
Currently based: Washington, D.C.
